Shared wins on raw price for almost any group that fits. Book private when you are starting somewhere the shared van does not run, when you want a guaranteed private vehicle rather than sharing, or when you are a group of seven or more and would otherwise be split across vans. Above six passengers a shared booking can be split between vehicles, while a Sprinter keeps everyone and the luggage together.
Also worth weighing: the shared shuttle only runs from the airports. If you are starting in Katy, The Woodlands, or any Houston neighborhood, private is the only option we run.
